The idea of establishing Diocesan Museum was made by Msgr. Angelo Pietrobelli, in the second half of 70's, identifying St. Joseph's Cconvent as appropriate home for the first group of works from desecrated churches. Since 80's, Museum was also invested in the restoration and conservation of artwork and materials of Diocese, in addition to organizing cultural and educational activities.
