Specchiolla Tower, in Marina di Casalbate (LE), is an ancient watchtower dating back to the sixteenth century. Erected to defend against the Salento peninsula by the attacks of the Saracens coming from the sea, the Tower has a truncated pyramid structure with a square base with a slight escarpment. It spread over two floors divided by a string course and presents a series of twelve trapdoors.
