The Complex of the Incurable is a monumental site in the historic center. Since 2010, a part of the complex is part of the Museum of Health Arts in Naples. Originaly structure of the Renaissance included: the Church of St. Mary of the People, St. Mary Succurre Miseris dei Bianchi and the historic Hospital of St. Mary of the People for Incurable. Over the time it encompass the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie Major Caponapoli, the complex of Santa Maria della Consolazione, the Church of St. Mary of Jerusalem and the Cloister of Thirty. All of these structures contains some of the most important examples of Neapolitan Renaissance. The historic Hospital, founded in 1521 by Maria Lorenza Longo, contains the remarkable eighteenth century Pharmacy by Bartolomeo Vecchione: largely intact, consists of two rooms with original wooden shelves completely, on which there are about 400 precious majolica vases made by Donato Massa. The backyard boasts two historic fountains, the monumental staircases and the "Pozzo dei Pazzi", where they were let down people in a state of agitation.
