Gardaland is an amusement park located in Ronchi, in the municipality of Castelnuovo del Garda, in the province of Verona. It is adjacent to Garda Lake while not overlooking it. The entire complex covers an area of 350,000 square meters and houses inside thematic mechanical and aquatic attractions. Every year it is visited by about 2 million and 880 thousand people. In 2005 Gardaland was ranked fifth by Forbes magazine in the ranking of the ten amusement parks in the world for entry and turnover. The main feature of the Park is the presence of numerous themed areas: Burma, Atlantis, Hawaii, Egypt, the Far West, the Middle Ages, Space and Fantastico/Cartoon, as well as 34 operational attractions, both aquatic and non.
