t is listed among Carolingian churches in Italy, dating back to the second half of the ninth century. Presents a plant on a Latin cross with barrel vaults. The roof is guaranteed by a dome set on columns inspired by Ionic style. Original decorations are preserved in the side arms. It was part of monastic fief of Abbey of San Zeno. It was one of the few churches in Verona area left untouched by the earthquake of 1117.
