Housed in the elegant de Pizzini von Hoechenbrunn Palace (XVII-XVIII century), where they were housed, as well as princes and kings, Mozart and Napoleon, the Museum offers the whole history of the piano, from its origins to the late nineteenth century, with rare and prestigious specimens. The Museum also serves as a conservation laboratory, where old keyboards are renovated and restored to its original splendor by a group of specialists who meet here regularly. It is home of the International Academy of Musical Interpretation of Historical Instruments. Always devoted to historical instruments is the annual concerts season.
