Municipal Theater Riccardo Zandonai, is the first theater opened in Trentino, significant work of the eighteenth century, has always celebrated cultural attraction for the entire region. The first construction took place in 1783 and it was a wooden building; was later replaced by a work in masonry and in 1871 was completed with new facade. It was restored after the damages of the war and opened with "Francesca da Rimini" by Riccardo Zandonai, whom Theater was named. Today it houses Festival of Music, Art and Culture Project Opera Rovereto.
