Located in a fourteenth-century Carmelite convent, restored and adapted several times between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, the museum illustrates the history of the visual arts in the Trapani area, through painting, sculpture, works on coral, ceramic, gold and silver, sculpture crib. The Museum has the nucleus to the private collection of Count Agostino Pepoli, promoter of the institution at the beginning of the twentieth century. To this, is added the antiquarian collections from the suppressed religious orders and donations from storages.
