Vittorio Emanuele Square separates old part of town to the new one. The Square is home to one side the statue of Vittorio Emanuele II by Giovanni Dupré (1882) and the other side to Triton Fountain, a work of 1890 celebrating the birth of Dammusi Aqueduct. In 1951, it was placed at the center of the Fountain a bronze statue of Triton, made by master Domenico Li Muli.
