Museo Demologico dell'Economia, del Lavoro e della Storia Sociale Silana
The Museum is located in the Florense Abbey, founded by Abbot Joachim of Fiore in the twelfth century. The exhibition takes visitors on a typological-theme journey focused on the objects of the folk tradition of the Sila, exposing work tools related to production cycles of wheat, livestock and pastoralism, testimonies economichee and techniques of traditional products, such as jewelery, shoemaking and carpentry, landscaping and culture, architectural, religious, music and iconography. Also present, the archives of the Photography Collection "Saverio Marra", in addition to the audiovisual and documentary.
