Centro di Cultura Scientifica Majorana - Ex Convento San Domenico
Centre for Scientific Culture "Ettore Majorana" is an organization known throughout the world, founded in Geneva, in 1962, and in Erice, in 1963, by physicist Antonino Zichichi. Based at the former St. Dominic's Convent is the first nucleus for global emergencies. The complex was built in the fifteenth century and now is also home to an Auditorium and Chalonge Museum, which houses tools, photos and artifacts used in the study of modern astrophysics. From ancient complex is still visible the porch.
