Thermae were unearthed in 1989 by archaeologist Biagio Pace. Fed by Fonte Diana, they originated in Roman times (II-III century AC) and were used until the Byzantine period. The three excavation campaigns have put the light tepidarium, a large polygonal nympheum, alveus and calidarium. It was also found a fine mosaic floor depicting Neptune surrounded by two groups of Nereids on newts, consisting of pieces of white limestone and black tiles of basalt.
