Its construction dates back to 1578, by Giovanni Antonio Albrizzi I, completed by his nephew in 1599 with the addition of "Square Tower". A later extension of the building was made by Pasquale Chyurlia I, Count of Cellino in 1742. Castle preserves original structure in a stone balustrade with turned columns on the access portal that serves as a communications arc with via Mario Pagano.
