Garibaldi Square is the main square of Caltanissetta. It is located at the intersection of two main axes of historic center, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Corso Umberto I. Square shape is quadrilateral. On the eastern side is imposing Cathedral, on the western side is St. Sebastian's Church, whose facade is characterized by purple and blue colors. At the center of the Square is situated monumental Triton Fountain, created by sculptor Michele Tripisciano. Between 2008 and 2009, Square was repaved in lava stone.
