Corso Umberto I

Where Corso Umberto I, 59-63, Caltanissetta

Course originates north, in Luigi Capuana Square. At the intersection with Via King of Italy it widens considerably, becoming a small boulevard of almost 200 m which goes to Garibaldi Square and ends at the intersection with Via XX September, which flows into the great avenue. On Course overlooking St. Lucy's Church, St. Agatha's Church (Scarabelli Public Library and Bellini Music High School), Bank of Sicily Palaca and Del Carmine Palace (Town hall). At the foot of St. Agatha's Church is the statue of Umberto I, placed in 1922. Since 2012 the work of redevelopment of historical center led to the re-paving all over the road surface and sidewalks in lava stone.
