Archaeological Museum of Caltanissetta, left its historical location in the city center, was reopened to the public in 2006 - renewed in the paths, in the teaching and in the contents - near Norman Abbey of Santo Spirito. New building, hidden between the olive trees and the almond trees of Nissena countryside, shares with the "Paolo Orsi" of Siracusa the designer (the disappeared architect Franco Minissi) and, even if small, the choice, even in this case, of polygonal plant and building materials such as cement, porphyry, light wood, glass, metal in a set that ends up exalting, without overlapping, the antiquity of the contents.
