Museo civico di storia naturale di Brescia
The museum consists of two locations: the Civic Museum of Natural History, housed in a large structure of rationalist made between 1975 and 1978 in the northern part of the city, and the Astronomical Observatory Cidnea, located within the perimeter of the fortified Brescia Castle. The museum is connected, via a covered walkway, an outdoor environment, which houses the auditorium, added in 1981. At the observatory is a private little room teaching derived from the reuse of the house of the caretaker, the management of which has been partially entrusted in 2003 the Museum of Natural Science. The museum houses collections of mineralogy, botany, zoology and prehistory. The observatory houses the observatory with a telescope and a new machine representative of the solar system and of the sky.
