MUSEO CIVICO ARCHEOLOGICO R. LAMRECHTS
The Archaeological Museum is currently housed in the rooms of the former Borghese Granary, which is also home to the City Council. The archaeological collection is formed by the remains found in the village of Piano della Civita and in the municipality by local Archaeological Group. The materials (ceramics, clay and marble architectural decorations, ornaments, tools and weapons, inscriptions, coins, glass, etc.) embrace a horizon of time ranging from the Neolithic to the early Middle Ages, and allow you to grasp comprehensively the history of surrounding territory, its forms of economic livelihood and its territorial organization. The archaeological site was equipped with guided trails, educational panels and a Visitor Center.
