The Interactive Museum of Toys and Poor Game is based at the Comprehensive School of Albano. The exhibition was curated by Donato Allegretti, a retired teacher. The Museum has as objectives the research, documentation and enhancement of the traditional play, through the recovery and preservation of popular toys, poor and street games. The collection consists of a collection of contemporary art on the theme of the game, with over 250 works of various tendencies (paintings, sculptures, graphics, collages and mixed media). There is also an ethnographic collection of about a hundred folk toys, which come mainly from Basilicata and Puglia. Recently, the collection has been enriched with some examples of whistles cane and a series of self-propelled toys fifties, made by hand with stoppers and drinks covers. Complete the setting up a series of toys made by pupils of Albano di Lucania's schools during the school years 2003/2005.
