Museo della Valle di Zogno
The Valley Museum aims to preserve objects related to the customs and traditions of the Val Brembana, in addition to promoting research and study of historical and artistic values, and organize cultural events. In 1982, the Museum has received in Stockholm the prestigious Prize as "Best European Museum of the Year". The Museum is located in the seventeenth century Furietti Palace, birthplace of the Bergamo Public Library's founder, Angelo Maj, Cardinal Alessandro Furietti and Vittorio Polli. In the same building lived also Pietro Volpi. The Museum is divided into twelve rooms, complemented by an outdoor exhibit in the cloister, in which are more than 2.500 objects.
