Starting from the west, it is the second of the countries that make up Cinque Terre National Park, set in a bay between the communes of Monterosso al Mare and Riomaggiore. in its territory is also the village of Corniglia. The area, characterized by typical terraces bordered by dry stone walls, is famous for the cultivation of vine. Among various hiking trails that allow the connection among Cinque Terre sites, a forest path (No. 7 for CAI), allows the connection of the coast with the middle and low Val di Vara. Above the village of Vernazza, in panoramic position, stands the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Reggio.
