The Municipal Museum of Torremaggiore was established on 19th May 2005 by the town resolution no. 8/2005. At the same time the Regulations were approved made up of 12 articles, which defined: the location at the Ducal Palace; the assets, the staff composition controlled by the Director, the management and care of collections and its services to the public. The Museum is a cultural structure that aims to enhance the artistic and historical, archaeological, ethnographic, historical, architectural and landscape heritage that comes from the territory of Torremaggiore. It is owned and managed by the Municipal Administration of Torremaggiore
