Fausto Amphitheatre is the main archaeological monument from the Roman period of the city of Terni. Undergone a number of recovery, it is now used as a venue for outdoor performances and cinema. Built in the first century AD, the Amphitheater occupied a peripheral area of the ancient Roman city of Interamna Nahars, but today is in the center, between the seventeenth-century Church of the Carmine, the public gardens of the Passeggiata and the Duomo. The facade, on the ground floor, has typical half-pillars demarcating blocks in closed and open bays.
