Museo Diocesano d'Arte Sacra
The Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art is divided in building complex adjacent to the ancient Church of the Madonna del Ponte, seat of the Diocesan Museum System. It houses more valuable and meaningful art objects from the Treasure of the Cathedral of St. Giusto and from the Church of the Madonna del Ponte: jewelery, wooden statuary, vestments and paintings from various Val di Susa areas. Among the exhibits are worth noting a reliquary casket of the Lombard period, the bronze knockers portal of the Abbey of St. Giusto and the Triptych of Our Lady of Rocciamelone. Next to ancient works coexist paintings and statues by contemporary artists such as Tino Aime, Anna Branciari, Lia Laterza and Francesco Tabusso. Thematic exhibitions are held regularly, and it can take advantage of guided tours on request.
