Chiesa dello Spirito Santo
Located on Ortigia seafront, it was built during Spanish rule by architect Pompeo Picherali, in 1727. Inside are frescoes by Ermenegildo Martoranae and Antonio Madiona. The facade, in white limestone typical of Syracuse, is a constant game of plans and templates, with Corinthian capitals. The dome is in Baroque style. From the bell tower you can admire the sea views.
