Minissi, the Museum houses works arranged in a chronological and topographical criteria, dating back to a period between the Prehistory and the Greek age. The first bulk of his assets is due to the collection of the late eighteenth century archbishop, to which were added either donated goods and materials found during the excavations in the territory, aimed at recovering the ancient sites Akrai, Tapsos, Megara Hyblaea, Pantalica and many others.
