San Polo d'Enza is a comune (municipality) in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) west of Bologna and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,529 and an area of 32.6 square kilometres (12.6 sq mi). The municipality of San Polo d'Enza contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Barcaccia, Belvedere, Bonini, Borsea, Bosi, Ca'Bianca, Casa Bertolini, Casa Farini, Case dell'Eva, Colombarone, Contea Orlandini, Cornacchia, Ghilga, Grassano Basso, Grassano Chiesa, Grassano Scuola, Pezzano, Pietre, Pieve, Pontenovo, Rio Luceria, Sedignano, Sessanta, and Stradella.
