The plastic is located in two rooms that are, respectively, in two buildings of the five hundred century, the "Small Mile" (Villa d'Alme) and the "Great Mile" (Cidneo), incorporated in the monumental complex of Brescia Castle, perched on Mount Cidneo. The buildings, both rectangular plan developed on two floors, were built with the function of warehouses of food and used as storage of grain needed to military garrisons stationed at the Castle. This is the largest model railway in Europe open to the public.
