The reef at the center of Otranto, in walking distance. Subject to the low tide, it becomes a natural pool. On the Heroes's Seafront is a statue dedicated to the Otranto's Martyrs, created by sculptor Antonio Bortone in 1922, representing an allegory of the Fatherland defending itself from the dangers that arrived from the sea.
