In Tempio Pausania they are 22 nuragic sites, among the best preserved is Nuraghe Majori, subject of recent archaeological excavations. It is located at an altitude of 498 meters s.l.m., on a granite dome, covered with a dense mixed forest. The monument is located in strategic position to control the territory along with numerous nuraghe arranged in nearby hills.
