Ecomuseo della Montagna Sarda o del Gennargentu
The Museum, which documents the culture of the Mandrolisai and Barbagia of Belvi area, is divided into two sections: one dedicated to the traditional costumes, the other tools of the core businesses of the land (agro-forestry-pastoral activities, crafts and trade) and housework, exposed environments accurately reconstructed. Of particular interest the documentation on the production of "carapigna", granita made from natural ice and lemon, which was exported all over the island since the fifteenth century. It is part of the visit also the Spanish prisons "Sa Bovida", where there is the permanent exhibition on magic and witchcraft in Sardinia in the XVI-XVII century.
