Where Via Castello, 1, L'Aquila

The building is a historic residence of Lucentini family, due to the late 16th century. Once again damaged by the earthquake in 2009, the building was restored from 2012 and reopened to the public for the first time in 2015. The building, of Renaissance architecture, is presented on three levels with heavy buttresses on the corners. On the corner between the course and the square the emblem of Bonanni balsonato family is installed. It is configured with a horseshoe-shaped layout and has an internal courtyard which is one of the very few in Aquila portico on all four sides. During the restorations of 2012-2015, further columns with decorative elements of Gothic-Renaissance type were found which had been incorporated into the masonry.
