The Association Historical Archive "Olivetti" was founded in 1998 on the initiative of the company "Olivetti" in order to promote the collection, reorganization, preservation, study and promotion of the vast archival heritage on the company's history and personalities of the Olivetti family. This heritage, constituted by documents, letters, books, newspapers, magazines, posters, drawings, photographs, audiovisual, models and plastic models, was the subject of a scan job. The activity of the Association is also to provide assistance and advice to scholars and researchers, working in cultural events, exhibitions, and conferences.
