Santuario Francescano di Greccio
Greccio Sanctuary and Hermitage is one of the four shrines erected by St. Francis in Sacred Valley, with Fonte Colombo, Foresta and Poggio Bustone. It is at the beginning of the path for the complex. It has Latin cross plant, characterized by a side wall and a hexagonal apse. On the side include single windows in Gothic style, while the tower is sailing. Inside it is modern frescoes and original chapel of Holy carved into the rock. The church is located below. It is a building that joins monks's refectory, perched upon a rock. It has Latin cross plant with a bell tower and below there is crypt of St. Francis with a painted bezel of the thirteenth century.
