The Museum displays the archaeological collection "Ernesto Palopoli", which consists of about 2000 pieces that illustrate the human stories, from Prehistory to the Byzantine era,of the Krotoniatide territory. The findings show uses, rituals and functions. Very important is the section dedicated to Brett and the Byzantine, with the largest collection of buckles with monogram of the owner and two fibulas in box (only) with the peacocks who drink in a cup (Christian iconography), one of which is the logo of the Museum itself.
