Pinacoteca d'Arte Moderna
The Art Gallery is located in the halls of the Castle and presents six large-scale paintings related to artistic contexts of great importance but, at present, not all attributed. This is the seventeenth-century "St. Jerome", large format; the nineteenth-century "Adoration of the Magi", the only attributed to the painter Aloisio (which is the monogramma); the seventeenth-century "Ascension"; the nineteenth-century "Presentation in the Temple", and two large-scale paintings related to the cycle of illustrations inspired by Tasso. Conclude the collection, the beautiful triptych of the "Madonna of the Roses", work by Domenico Morelli probably commissioned by Baron Luigi Compagna.
