Immersed in ancient forests, this famous and majestic Certosa was founded in 1204 by Pope Innocent III. Since 1208 it was entrusted to Carthusian monks, who in 1947 was replaced by current Cistercians. Inside you can visit Church with valuable works of art and ancient Pharmacy (seventeenth century). It is National Monument and also has a very rich State Library with 25,000 volumes.
