At the Department of Human Physiology and generally collects an important historical heritage of instruments used in the research and teaching carried out here in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This collection represents the historical memory of the evolution that has characterized an experimental discipline such as Human Physiology, University of Bologna cultural heritage. The collection has been divided into eleven nuclei by optical instruments, to historical texts, instruments to measure the most diverse physiological functions of the human organism. The collection is enriched by numerous anatomical drawings or tools, hand made for educational purposes.
