The historical collection, preserved in the evocative setting of the former tramway depot-workshop which once connected Bologna in Pieve di Cento and Malalbergo, documents the development of local public transport in Bologna between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It consists of archival sources, including the Historical Archive ATC, a photo archive with over 7,000 images, with a library of about 600 titles, a record of the material consists of about 250 relics (objects representing business processes) and rolling stock 31 historical (trains, trams, buses and trolleybuses) dated between 1887 and 1994. allow such materials and documents to scholars, researchers and especially to educational institutions to become aware of the origins of the national and provincial public transport.
