Bard is a fortified complex that rebuilding in the nineteenth century by House of Savoy on the rock that dominates the village of Bard. After a period of neglect, Fort was fully restored and opened to visitors. Currently hosting exhibitions of ancient, modern, contemporary art and photography, as well as being home to three permanent locations: Alps Museum, Alps of Children and Prisons. In the main courtyard are held musical and theatrical performances.
