Capo Miseno
Tip of the Flegrea peninsula, in the area of Bacoli, from which it can admire the Gulf of Naples and the islands of Ischia and Procida, Miseno Cape is generated on the remains of a volcanic complex formed by the Miseno port and the ancient center of Bacoli. Its caldera is situated to the south, where the road that climbs the mountain, and is clearly visible from the sea: it has a privileged view to taking the ferry from Pozzuoli port to the islands of Procida and Ischia, along the Cape, with the caldera recognizable as semicircular basin, like a natural amphitheater. Miseno Cape is home to a lighthouse very important for night navigation.
