Bacoli (Latin: Bauli) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 15 km west of Naples. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 27,402 and an area of 13.3 km².
Geography
Bacoli borders the municipalities of Monte di Procida and Pozzuoli.
History
The frazione of Cuma - Fusaro includes the site of Cumae, the first settlement in Italy by the ancient Greeks.
