The Museum is named after Father Silvestro Frangipane, who lived in the Convent of Zagarise between 1570 and 1650, realizing with his brothers a collection of 36 paintings that today make up the most important collection of the Museum. The exhibition has frescoes dating back to the sixteenth century and paintings and plastics dating from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century, all coming from the territory of Zagarise, especially by the Church and the Convent of the Dominican Fathers and the Church of Santa Maria Assunta.
