Villa Guardia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Milan and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) southwest of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,879 and an area of 7.7 square kilometres (3.0 sq mi).
The municipality of Villa Guardia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Maccio, Civello, Masano, Brugo, and Mosino.
Villa Guardia borders the following municipalities: Bulgarograsso, Cassina Rizzardi, Gironico, Grandate, Luisago, Lurate Caccivio, Montano Lucino.
