Museo del presepio della tradizione presepistica triestina
The Museum has about 150 works that testify the tradition, creativity, art and culture of Trieste and offer a broad and comprehensive overview on the various interpretations of the nativity in Italy and worldwide. A wide range of materials used in their construction: paper, wood, wax, polystyrene, shells, cigarette filters, cardboard, cork, tile and more. Attractive large traditional nativity scenes animated with many movements and light. A particular area of the museum is reserved for cribs called "Triestini" set in a scenic context with significant and characteristic views of the city and its province. The Museum also has a cribs laboratory available to all those interested in the construction of the Nativity.
