Piccolo museo (Il)
The Little Museum is a private collection, and it is an educational project aimed at young people, in the belief that to treasure the memories of the past is key to building the future. The Museum is not just a collection of precious objects, but a rich collection of tools of daily life of the late nineteenth century until the early twentieth century. All the exhibits have been restored by the workshop which belongs to the museum. The Museum has two souls: a real, just born, based in Trieste, Via dei Fabbri 3, and a virtual born a few years ago. Even the location of the museum is of significant importance: the building that houses the collection is 1830, a historic ideal home for the characteristics of the collection. The site presented books published by Little Museum. The interested visitor can download for free on theris computer the text (PDF) and the photos. The exhibits are divided into categories. Each object has a data-sheet, with a description in English and Italian and photos regarding the subject.
