Riserva Naturale Isola Bella
Island about 1 sq km of lush vegetation, joined to the mainland by a thin strip of sand. Isola Bella is Nature Reserve since 1998, celebrated by Goethe, Byron, Dillon and many others, is divided into small terraces connected by stairs and walkways, immersed in lush Mediterranean vegetation and exotic shrubs. Donated by Ferdinand I of Bourbon to the city of Taormina in 1806, after having been for a long time private, in 1984 was declared "Heritage of significant historical interest".

Isola Bella can be reached from Taormina by Taormina-Mazzarò cable car. The island is visited every day except Monday, from 9:00 am until one hour before sunset to groups of 15 people at a time. Tiket 4 €.
