Opened in 1993, is headquartered in the Octagon Room recently built next to the Malatesta Temple, monumental building designed by Leon Battista Alberti, among the greatest masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance. In the windows are kept the most valuable religious silverware of the cathedral, around seventy pieces including chalices, ciboria, reliquaries, monstrance, vestments, furnishings, paintings and sculptures. Of particular interest in some manuscripts, a bas-relief of the thirteenth century and reliquaries of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.
