The Civic Museums of Pesaro are in Palace Toschi Mosca, in the heart of the old town, and are divided into an Art Gallery and a Museum of Ceramics. In the first, there are paintings from the fourteenth to the nineteenth century, including emerges the imposing altarpiece of the "Coronation of the Virgin" by Giovanni Bellini, who come from the city's churches and private collections. The Museum of Ceramics is famous for its wealth of stained glass tiles made at the Duchy of Urbino in the sixteenth century, and for the production of Pesaro to the rose of the eighteenth century.
