Palazzo Cesaroni

Where Piazza Italia, Perugia

Cesaroni Palace, in Neoclassical style, was built at the initiative of the wealthy businessman Ferdinand Cesaroni, who entrusted the project to the architect Guglielmo Calderini. Inside there is the greatest cycle of frescoes in Liberty style of the city, made by Annibale Brugnoli and Domenico Bruschi. The Palace was never inhabited by its owner over the years and was destined to different uses: one of its meeting it was originally the Royal Mail, while the rest was turned into a luxury hotel. Finally becomes the property of the Region of Umbria in 1999.
